NEELA

Neela brings singer-songwriter music in a quiet pop-country style with a pinch of folk. The accessible, recognizable melodies, played on acoustic instruments, make the atmosphere intimate, romantic, dreamy and cozy. We bring this cosiness through your screen so that it looks like we are playing by the fireplace in your living room!

The driving forces are Nele Wouters and Kenneth Vermoote.

Nele Wouters sang for a while with the Halle cover band 'Moelparkee' and was the first soprano in the vocal ensemble 'Cantores Gaudiaci'.

Today she sings in the group 'Neela' but also in the a cappella ensemble 'Vocalithree', the cover band 'Keyskeurig' and the choir that performs 'The Night Of The Proms' every year: 'Fine Fleur'.

Kenneth Vermoote played with numerous groups as a guitarist and bassist and even made it to New York where Times Square held his breath when they performed there (for 'the real radio show', a program that could be followed live worldwide) .

Erin Huysmans is in her twenties and writes ballads with which she hopes to be able to touch others and encourage others. It's not a coincidence that her name stands for Everything Related (to) Important Narratives. She tells stories of events that have affected her environment or herself.

The songs can be compared to Adele, Lauren Daigle, Ed Sheeran and James Bay: simple but catchy and emotional.

With musical experience in five different bands and as a singer with Fine Fleur (the choir that supports the artists of the Night of the Proms, among others), the stage has become a second home and she likes nothing more than to perform as much as possible.
