De MuziekMolen (The MusicMill), one of the oldest buildings in the region, is ready to open windows and doors after extensive renovation!

We start with a monthly exclusive concert series!

This first session starts immediately with a blast!

Jan Vanlaet will present his new CD "Praatverzachter" together with the legendary Ad Cominotto.

As support act we were able to tie the wonderful Fret + Monica.

That evening Jan and Ad will perform their own Dutch songs with bluesy / eclectic Spanish input. Rough and armed only with acoustic guitar and accordion, we deal with our demons and make a conscious choice for the storm that swirls in several glasses.

Jan's latest release "Praatverzachter" is the musical Dutch-language result of years of collaboration between Jan Vanlaet and Ad Cominotto. After many musical wanderings - Citizen Jane, Mama's Jasje, Cupalibre - it was time to make a conclusion of intense emotions and life experiences. To settle with time.

Ad Cominotto doesn't really need an introduction. Besides being a much sought-after musician for radio and television, Ad is also involved as a guest or group member in numerous groups and artists from Belgium and abroad. Or what do Arno, Marcel Vanthilt, Vaya Con Dios, Red Zebra and Adamo have in common? Ad Cominotto!

What does a musical soul need more than a strong voice, melancholic harmonica sounds and an acoustic guitar? FRET + MONICA - aka Fred Vanderroost, a musical child of the 90s - plays their own songs in the style of great examples Bob, Bruce and Neil. Taken or imagined on lyrics from life, he brings soul-warming songs to their "naked" essence. An absolutely wonderful experience to see this young talent at work!
